Dartmouth Grand Opening

We would like to thank all customers, vendors and long-time supporters of Nova Truck Centres for coming out to celebrate our Dartmouth Grand Opening this past Friday September 16, 2016.

We kicked the event off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12pm. President & CEO, Peter Macgillivray and Board of Directors Chairman, Jim MacKay were front and center to cut the rope with our extra-large scissors. Jim was actually one of the original 3 brothers that founded Nova Enterprises Limited.

As a proud sponsor of The World’s Largest Truck Convoy for Special Olympics, we invited some athletes to join in the celebration by jumping in our trucks and sounding the horns after the ribbon cutting—and if you were in Burnside, you could hear how much they loved it! Their convoy will rolling through the streets of Dartmouth this Saturday September 24, 2016 starting at 10:15am—see you there!

Following the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, we had a pig roast feast, live entertainment by Hal Bruce, tradeshow, and building tours of our new digs.
Cole Butcher & Shawn Turple showed up in style with their racecars. Attendees got to take their photos with the drivers, cars—some even got a chance to sit in the hot seat. Cole Butcher #53 just set the record for the youngest driver ever to win the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour Championship at Scotia Speedworld this past Saturday [Sept 17, 2016]! Shawn Turple #10 with Dexter Construction is a two-time Series Champion.
