May 5, 2015 marked a major milestone for Freightliner as they unveiled the Freightliner Inspiration truck—the first autonomous commercial truck to operate on an open public highway in the United States.
The rebranding follows a merger of Lockhart Truck Center and Nova Enterprises Limited back in 2013. After a year of merging the two companies, the decision was made to also merge both corporate brands under one strong brand. Nova Truck Centres was designed to embrace our history and tradition of being a people focused company; both its customers and employees—after all they’re the foundation of the companies successes.
The all new 5700XE was launched in September 2014, following its appearance in the latest Transformers movie that debuted last summer. The new aerodynamic highway tractor was used as inspiration for the Optimus Prime character.
Nova Enterprises Limited was recognized this past fall by Daimler Trucks North America for its 35 years as a Freightliner dealer.
